Import Export Finance & Investment Consultant – Country Manager

About the role

This freelance, part‑time, virtual remote position is for an International Trade Finance Consultant / Country Manager who will market Silicon Valley Global’s products and services, oversee operations in a designated country, and drive business growth through strategic planning and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Market SVG’s products and services and develop business strategies for the assigned country.
• Oversee daily operations, manage budgets and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners and regulatory bodies.
• Lead and coordinate a team of professionals to achieve company objectives.
• Generate leads through digital sales and marketing initiatives across platforms and social media.

Required profile

• Senior leadership experience (e.g., CEO, Founder, Director, Operations Head) in trade‑related sectors.
• Background in commodity trading, import‑export, logistics, or related industries.
• At least 3 years of experience in trade finance or banking consultancy.
• Proven ability to develop business strategies and navigate local regulations.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills, with flexibility to work remotely.
• Experience in financial engineering or technology‑driven finance is a plus.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Letters of Credit (LC/DLC) and Standby Letters of Credit (SBLC).
• Familiarity with Bank Guarantees (BG) and Proof of Funds (POF).
• Understanding of Bank Comfort Letters (BCL) and SWIFT messaging (MT760, MT799, MT700).
• Experience with digital sales and marketing platforms for lead generation.
