IMDS Analyst – Material Data Management

About the role

We are seeking an IMDS Analyst to join our team and support the processing and management of material data for our products within the International Material Data System (IMDS). The role ensures data accuracy, timely submissions, and effective coordination with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, process, and finalize material data for final products (FP numbers) in IMDS.
• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of submitted data.
• Monitor deadlines and guarantee timely delivery for ongoing projects.
• Manage communication with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate IMDS‑related activities across departments.
• Support suppliers in resolving IMDS data issues and rejection reasons.
• Manage the IMDS mailbox and handle requests efficiently.
• Generate reports required by management.
• Perform system checks and data validations.
• Provide support for system or data integration issues (iPoint, HOST, IMDS).
• Prepare reports related to communication projects and activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field.
• Good analytical skills; experience in quality assurance is a plus.
• Advanced written and spoken English; German is a plus.
• Collaborative, customer‑focused, proactive, adaptable and able to manage priorities.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with IMDS, iPoint, or similar tools.
• Experience with system integration tools such as HOST.
