Human Resources Manager

About the role

We are a fast‑growing AI and cloud infrastructure company serving government and enterprise clients. As the Human Resources Manager you will design and implement the people processes that will support our rapid expansion and bring structure to a previously ad‑hoc environment.

Key responsibilities

• Map current responsibilities, decision‑making authority and gaps, then define clear roles, reporting lines and career levels.
• Write and maintain the employee handbook covering working hours, leave, remote work, expenses, code of conduct and disciplinary procedures.
• Implement a modern HRIS to replace spreadsheets for records, leave, attendance and documentation.
• Standardise recurring HR moments such as onboarding, probation, promotion and off‑boarding.
• Act as a trusted point of contact for employees, handling relations, grievances, conflicts and disciplinary matters.
• Coach managers—many of whom are engineers promoted to leadership—through difficult conversations.
• Run performance review cycles focused on objectives, feedback and clear outcomes.
• Own salary structures, benchmarking and answer compensation questions transparently.
• Draft contracts, NDAs and termination letters, keep records confidential and coordinate payroll with finance.
• Ensure compliance with local labour law and flag any conflicts early.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in HR or People Operations, including senior‑level responsibility.
• Proven track record building HR functions from scratch (policies, review cycles, job architecture).
• Hands‑on experience managing employee relations, grievances and difficult exits.
• Strong knowledge of local labour law, contracts and compliance.
• Trusted by both leadership and staff, with the ability to deliver unwelcome messages.
• High discretion and systematic approach to process design.
• Excellent written English and Arabic.
