HSEE Specialist (Safety, Health & Environment)

About the role

The HSEE Specialist will lead safety, health, and environmental initiatives at the Zaghouan site, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the HSEE site strategy and prepare internal release instructions.
• Consolidate and monitor site HSEE KPIs, produce status reports and countermeasure plans.
• Organize waste management, recycling, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental permits.
• Conduct trainings, create emergency plans, and lead internal audits of the HSEE management system.
• Investigate environmental and work‑related incidents and perform safety inspections, risk assessments, and ergonomic studies.
• Authorize production stops when unsafe conditions are identified.

Required profile

• University degree in Energy, Environmental Engineering, Health & Safety Management, Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Fluent English (C1) and knowledge of HSE regulations and standards.

Required skills

• Familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001.
• Risk assessment and hazard identification.
• Incident investigation and root‑cause analysis.
• Emergency preparedness and response planning.
• Reporting, KPI monitoring and strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint).
