HSE Supervisor

About the role

BIC World is seeking an experienced HSE Supervisor to lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives across its manufacturing site. You will work closely with management and operational teams to embed HSE best practices, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Advise management on risk evaluation and define safety, hygiene, and environmental policies.
• Reduce the environmental impact of industrial activities and ensure HSE considerations are integrated into daily operations.
• Monitor regulatory requirements and stakeholder expectations, maintaining site compliance.
• Update occupational risk assessments and environmental analyses, conducting specialized HSE assessments as needed.
• Develop and implement prevention programs to lower incidents, accidents, and illnesses.
• Maintain and promote the site’s HSE management system, delivering training and awareness programs.
• Organize emergency response plans in collaboration with maintenance for fire risks.
• Maintain the accident register, analyze incident causes, and share lessons learned.
• Conduct routine inspections and compliance audits across production workshops.

Required profile

• Superior Technician, Master, Engineer or equivalent degree in Quality, Health, Safety, or Environment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001 standards.
• Familiarity with internal audit standards (ISO 19011).
• Proficiency with quality tools such as PDCA, QRQC, 5M, 5S, 5Why.
• Basic MS Office computer skills.
