HSE Supervisor – Health, Safety & Environment

About the role

The HSE Supervisor will lead health, safety, and environmental initiatives at BIC World’s manufacturing site. You will work closely with management and operational teams to embed HSE best practices, reduce risks, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Advise management on risk evaluation and define safety, hygiene, and environmental policies.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards (BIC Group, insurers, etc.).
• Update occupational risk assessments and environmental analyses, conducting assessments when HSE expertise is required.
• Develop and implement prevention programs to lower incidents, accidents, illnesses, and environmental impact.
• Maintain and promote the site’s HSE management system, delivering training and awareness programs.
• Organize emergency response plans in collaboration with the maintenance manager.
• Maintain the accident register, analyse causes, and share lessons learned.
• Perform routine inspections and compliance audits across production workshops.
• Track and follow up on HSE performance indicators.

Required profile

• Superior Technician, Master, Engineer or equivalent degree in Quality, Health, Safety, or Environment.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills, work ethic, urgency, and analytical mindset.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001 standards.
• Familiarity with ISO 19011 internal audit guidelines.
• Proficiency with quality tools such as PDCA, QRQC, 5M, 5S, 5Why.
• Basic MS Office computer skills.
