Head of Maintenance Management – Production Facility

About the role

LEONI is seeking a senior leader to head the Maintenance Management unit for its production facility. The role is responsible for ensuring reliable operation of production and facility equipment, driving continuous improvement, and leading a multidisciplinary maintenance team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the Maintenance Management organization according to defined objectives and KPIs.
• Design and lead initiatives to improve maintenance processes, standards, governance and system implementation.
• Define and steer budgets for maintenance activities and projects.
• Oversee multiple sub‑units, ensuring effective team performance, succession planning and change management.
• Implement a standardized approach for preventive, predictive and unplanned maintenance of production and facility equipment.
• Coordinate installation, relocation and re‑qualification of equipment and tools.
• Ensure maintenance of utilities (cooling, heating, electricity, water, compressed air, steam, lighting) and safety systems (firefighting, fire prevention, security cameras).
• Monitor, analyse and improve process performance while reducing spare‑parts inventory.

Required profile

• University degree in a relevant engineering or technical field.
• Fluent in English (C1) and French (C1).
• Minimum 7 years of experience in maintenance, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Preferably 3+ years of experience in maintenance project management.
• Background in the automotive industry or its suppliers.
• Strategic mindset and ability to work under pressure.
