Head of Corporate – Wholesale Banking

About the role

The Head of Corporate will lead the Corporate franchise within Bank ABC Tunisia’s Wholesale Banking Division, reporting directly to the Head of Wholesale Banking. The role focuses on growing and protecting a diversified client portfolio while delivering revenue, loan and deposit targets.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute an account strategy to expand the client base, reduce concentration risk and meet revenue, loan and deposit goals.
• Exit marginal relationships, increase client meetings and maximize share‑of‑wallet through cross‑selling and product penetration.
• Re‑price the portfolio, improve return matrices and identify opportunities aligned with industry outlooks.
• Grow liabilities by increasing average client deposits, diversifying the depositor base and enhancing CASA composition.
• Originate new corporate relationships, drive operating income and ensure cross‑network business generation.
• Maintain credit quality, produce timely CAF approvals, renew existing facilities and mitigate risk to reduce provision ratios.
• Lead talent acquisition and development, fostering a culture of accessibility and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with internal departments to deliver accurate, timely services to corporate clients.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and credit assessment abilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of the Tunisian market, key players and sector trends.
• Proven client relationship management skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of corporate banking products and regulatory framework.
• Established network with senior executives of major companies.
