Head of Corporate – Wholesale Banking

About the role

The Bank ABC Wholesale Banking Division is seeking a Head of Corporate to lead its corporate banking activities in Tunisia. Reporting directly to the Head of Wholesale Banking, you will be responsible for shaping the corporate strategy, driving growth, and ensuring the resilience of the client portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute an account strategy to grow and protect the corporate client portfolio, reducing concentration risk while meeting revenue, loan and deposit targets.
• Conduct regular client meetings to increase share‑of‑wallet, acquire new clients and exit marginal relationships.
• Optimize portfolio productivity through re‑pricing, cross‑selling and product penetration, aligning with market outlook.
• Expand liabilities by increasing average client deposits, diversifying the client base and enhancing CASA composition.
• Originate new deals, maintain existing relationships and drive operating income across the network.
• Ensure compliance with risk appetite, meet KPIs/KRIs and foster Retail‑Wholesale Banking synergies.
• Oversee credit and risk management by delivering high‑quality credit approval files (CAFs), renewing them promptly and escalating red flags to limit provision ratios.
• Lead and develop the corporate team, attract talent, uphold Bank ABC values and provide accessible, continuous improvement‑focused leadership.
• Coordinate with internal departments to deliver timely, accurate services to clients.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and credit assessment capabilities.
• In‑depth knowledge of the Tunisian market, key players and sector trends.
• Proven client relationship management experience in corporate banking.
• Leadership experience with a track record of building and motivating high‑performing teams.
