Head of Continuous Improvement (CIP) – Plant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Continuous Improvement (CIP) to lead the CIP strategy at our Jemmel plant. The role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on deployment of Lean and operational excellence across all functions.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary internal and external contact for all Continuous Improvement programs.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the plant.
• Deploy Lean Manufacturing principles, tools and methodologies to drive productivity, quality and cost reductions.
• Identify, prioritize and implement improvement opportunities that deliver measurable performance gains.
• Lead cross‑functional improvement projects and ensure sustainable results.
• Coach, train and develop employees in Lean and continuous improvement practices.
• Manage the CIP team, budget and resources while monitoring action plans and timelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field or equivalent professional certification.
• 5 + years of experience in the automotive industry, with a strong background in continuous improvement.
• Proven leadership, strategic thinking and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment.

Required skills

• Lean Management methods and principles.
• Basic training in ISO 14001 environmental management.
• Basic training in ISO 45001 occupational health & safety.
