Fundraising Specialist – Institutional & Grant Funding (Hybrid)

About the role
Edidact, a Swiss‑Tunisian EdTech startup, is seeking a Fundraising Specialist to drive institutional fundraising across the MENA region and Africa. The role combines grant acquisition, partnership development, and support for private fundraising initiatives to fuel the company’s international expansion.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute Edidact’s institutional fundraising strategy for MENA and Africa.
- Identify and secure funding from NGOs, foundations, embassies, UN agencies, and public institutions.
- Develop long‑term partnerships with organisations focused on education, youth, AI, digital inclusion and social impact.
- Track grant opportunities, calls for proposals and international funding programmes.
- Prepare high‑quality grant applications, partnership proposals and impact reports.
- Build relationships with decision‑makers in ministries, development agencies and philanthropic foundations.
- Assist private fundraising efforts (venture capital, family offices, strategic investors) when relevant.
Required profile
- Minimum 4 years of experience in institutional fundraising, grant management, international development or NGO partnerships.
- Proven track record securing funding from NGOs, foundations, embassies, international organisations or public programmes.
- Strong understanding of the donor ecosystem across the MENA region and Africa.
- Excellent proposal writing and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English; French and Arabic are strong advantages.
- Autonomous, organised and passionate about measurable social impact.
