Freight & Customs Responsible – Logistics

About the role

The Freight & Customs Responsible will coordinate both international and domestic transport operations, ensuring that all import‑export documentation is processed accurately and on time. You will act as the main liaison with customs brokers and internal teams to guarantee compliance with regulations and contractual requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage provisional import‑export declarations in collaboration with customs brokers.
• Oversee the flow of import‑export documentation, including invoices and transport documents.
• Ensure customs clearance procedures follow Versigent’s internal regulations and contractual obligations.
• Validate final declared values for each shipment, segregating data by Incoterms and currency.
• Register import licences with the appropriate banks and prepare customs files for both import and export.
• Monitor legally mandated customs declaration procedures for all goods.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, management or a related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in logistics or customs operations.
• Fluent English communication skills.

• Knowledge of customs clearance processes and import‑export regulations.
• Experience coordinating with customs brokers and handling customs documentation.
