Finance Manager

About the role

CareerBoosts is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting for its remote‑first workforce modernization platform. The role is full‑time and responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, supporting month‑end and year‑end close, and providing insights to drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations, including cash‑flow monitoring and management reporting.
• Prepare and analyse budgets, forecasts and variance reports, delivering actionable insights to leadership.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end closing processes and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Maintain internal controls, coordinate audits and liaise with external partners such as banks and auditors.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align financial plans with business initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field; CPA, CMA or CFA preferred.
• Proven experience in finance or accounting management, preferably within technology, services or HR‑solutions environments.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to perform budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and financial modelling.
• Excellent communication skills to translate complex financial data for non‑finance stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented and capable of working independently in a remote setting.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• Experience with financial ERP or accounting software.
• Familiarity with data‑visualisation or reporting tools.
• Knowledge of GAAP or IFRS accounting standards.
