About the role

We are looking for a senior press and media relations expert to join NTU International’s EU‑funded visibility and public diplomacy project in Morocco. The specialist will support the EU‑Morocco partnership by designing and implementing strategic communication actions that raise the Union’s profile across the country.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute press‑release strategies, media briefings and outreach campaigns targeting national and regional outlets.
• Maintain and expand relationships with journalists, broadcasters, NGOs, think‑tanks and other key stakeholders.
• Coordinate multilingual content production (French, Arabic, Darija, English) and ensure consistent messaging across all channels.
• Monitor media coverage, analyse impact and provide regular reports to the project team.
• Support public‑diplomacy events, cultural activities and stakeholder mobilisation efforts.

Required profile

• University degree (minimum BAC+4) in journalism, communication, public relations, media studies, political science/international relations or a related field; or 10 years of relevant experience if the degree level is lower.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in press, media or institutional communication, with a minimum of 3 years in a similar senior role.
• Fluent French; proficiency in Arabic and Moroccan Arabic (Darija) and English are strong assets.
