Expert Production Engineer

About the role

LEONI is seeking an Expert Production Engineer to support the development of new production equipment and processes for its wiring systems business in Tunisia. You will work closely with country and production management teams to ensure smooth implementation of production concepts and new technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and introduce new production equipment, tools, and processes, providing training and technical support to the shop floor.
• Plan, standardise and execute production engineering activities, including change management, equipment planning and master‑data creation.
• Maintain manufacturing master data such as MRP, production drawings, BOMs, MES data, board designs and FMEA.
• Create and update work instructions, visual aids and method documentation, ensuring they are current for machines and operators.
• Validate and release production equipment, tooling, jigs, test tables and workplace layouts according to change‑management procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in the wiring or automotive cable industry.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication, intercultural sensitivity and change‑management skills.
