Executive Finance Officer (P5) – Tunisia

About the role

The Executive Finance Officer will be responsible for end‑to‑end financial reporting, reconciliation and vendor management for the Tunisia office. The role ensures accurate accounting, timely payments and compliance with internal and external standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare MIS/Ledger independently and generate all required accounting reports for the Head Office.
• Execute month‑end provisions, intercompany reconciliation and verify bank statements for cash and DD credits.
• Maintain remittance tracker, prepare DAR reports and reconcile them with online fund flow.
• Coordinate with the Travel Desk for surrendered currency and ensure correct SAP accounting.
• Handle routine tasks such as stop payments, DD cancellations, cheque cancellations, cheque depositions, receipt generation and manual payments.
• Manage accounts payable and vendor relationships, verify travel sheets, imprest clearances and vendor invoices.
• Process timely remittance and RTGS transactions while maintaining complete documentation.
• Collaborate with SSC and VFS Global staff for payment queries and support.
• Ensure process efficiency, compliance with timelines and maintain the internal customer satisfaction index.
• Promote sustainable practices, adhere to EHS policies and follow Anti‑Bribery Management System guidelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in financial reporting, month‑end closing and intercompany reconciliation.
• Strong background in accounts payable, vendor management and cash handling.
• Familiarity with SAP or similar ERP systems for accounting tasks.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
