About the role
SBM Design is looking for an entry‑level Mechanical Designer to work on automotive prototypes, fixtures and validation models for European OEM clients. The role is focused on using CATIA V5 and developing class‑A surface‑modeling skills.
Key responsibilities
- Develop 3D models and fixtures for automotive prototype projects using CATIA V5.
- Support validation model creation for European OEM specifications.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to apply automotive surfacing standards.
- Read and interpret technical English client specifications.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical design or engineering.
- Solid fundamentals in CATIA V5.
- Proficiency in technical English for reading specifications.
- Motivation to learn advanced surface‑modeling techniques.
