English Teacher (On‑site Contract)

About the role

RITEJ is seeking an enthusiastic English Teacher to join its on‑site team in Tunis on a contract basis. You will be responsible for delivering engaging English language lessons to learners of varying proficiency levels, fostering development in reading, writing, listening, and speaking.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and teaching materials tailored to different proficiency levels.
• Lead classroom activities and provide clear, constructive feedback.
• Assess student progress using appropriate evaluation tools.
• Collaborate with colleagues to align course content with educational objectives.
• Participate in meetings or initiatives aimed at improving the learning environment.

Required profile

• Strong background in English teaching and classroom instruction.
• Experience designing structured, goal‑oriented lessons.
• Effective communication skills in English and the ability to work with diverse learners.
• Relevant teaching certification (e.g., TESOL, TEFL, CELTA) is a plus.
• Degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to work on‑site in Tunis and manage time efficiently.
