Digital Transformation and AI Support Assistant

About the role

The Digital Transformation and AI Support Assistant will help UNFPA Tunisia integrate modern digital tools and responsible AI into its programmes on sexual and reproductive health, gender‑based violence, and youth engagement. Working under the UNV programme and supported by the Swiss Embassy, the role focuses on automating data workflows, improving information sharing, and promoting ethical AI use.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated tools using Google Workspace (Sheets, Forms) to streamline data tracking and workflow efficiency.
• Enhance internal coordination, document management, and information‑sharing processes.
• Test, document, and support the responsible use of approved generative AI tools for tasks such as summarisation, information extraction, and meeting‑note organisation.
• Update dashboards and visualisations (Looker Studio, Excel) on health, gender‑based violence, youth programmes and population dynamics.
• Compile data in accessible formats for reporting and decision‑making.
• Assist in reviewing and improving digital tools for youth feedback collection.
• Create simple guidance materials and deliver digital learning sessions for staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Data/Business Analytics, Digital Communications or a related field.
• Up to one year of professional experience in digital transformation, data management or analytics.
• Strong analytical, organisational and collaboration skills.
• Fluency in Arabic, French and English.

Required skills

• Google Workspace (Sheets, Forms, Docs)
• Google Apps Script or macro development
• Familiarity with generative AI tools and responsible prompt writing
• Dashboard creation and data visualisation using Looker Studio or Excel
