Digital and Web Designer

About the role

The World Health Organization is seeking a Digital and Web Designer on a UN Volunteer assignment in Tunisia. You will strengthen WHO’s digital communications, manage web content, and support internal information flow to ensure consistent, high‑quality digital outputs.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain web pages, stories, publications, events and announcements.
• Ensure content quality, formatting and mobile optimisation.
• Support social‑media and newsletter distribution, schedule posts and produce analytics reports.
• Maintain SharePoint sites, photo libraries and internal communication channels.
• Create visual materials such as presentations and flyers.
• Monitor communication inboxes, respond promptly and coordinate follow‑up.
• Edit and review documents to meet WHO editorial standards.
• Track deadlines and liaise with internal teams and external partners.
• Provide guidance on digital communication tools and procedures.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in information systems, digital communications, web content management or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in digital communications, web management or information systems.
• Fluency in Arabic, French and English.

Required skills

• Experience with content management systems (Sitefinity is an asset).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite – InDesign and Photoshop.
• Knowledge of SharePoint platforms.
• Social‑media management, analytics and digital reporting.
• Strong MS Office skills.
