Deputy Production Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Deputy Production Manager to support and optimise our automotive production operations. You will drive operational excellence, uphold high‑quality standards and champion continuous improvement in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, guide and motivate production teams to meet operational goals while ensuring discipline, cleanliness and schedule compliance.
• Coordinate daily production activities to achieve quality and quantity targets, monitor KPIs and maintain 100% performance on minutes and PPM objectives.
• Collaborate closely with the Quality Department to guarantee flawless output.
• Ensure compliance with production standards and safety, participate in internal and external audits.
• Track daily, weekly and monthly production data, prepare reports, dashboards and statistics for management.
• Monitor production cost centres, support budget control and contribute to cost‑reduction initiatives.
• Oversee accurate shift data, organise task allocation and apply disciplinary actions when necessary.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong leadership and organisational abilities.
• Advanced proficiency in English; German language skills are a plus.

• ERP systems.
• Knowledge of VDA 6.3 standards.
• Experience with FMEA and PLP methodologies.
