Data Architect GCP

About the role

Devoteam is seeking a senior Data Architect with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform to shape and execute a data strategy that aligns with business goals. You will work closely with stakeholders across Tunisia and Saudi Arabia to deliver scalable, high‑performance data solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement data models for databases, data warehouses, and cloud storage, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Define data architecture standards, guide DBAs and developers, and oversee ETL processes for efficient data integration.
• Establish data governance, security, and privacy policies in collaboration with security teams.
• Monitor and optimize data architecture performance, troubleshoot issues, and support data scientists, analysts, and business users.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• At least 10 years of experience as a data architect or in a comparable role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Cloud data platforms: Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure.
• Data modeling and database management systems.
• ETL design and implementation.
• Big data technologies and platforms.
• Data governance, security, and compliance knowledge.
• Relevant certifications such as TOGAF.
