Credit Maintenance Analyst – Entry Level

About the role

The Credit Maintenance Analyst supports the Operations‑Services team by capturing, recording and monitoring credit data across Citi’s credit systems. This entry‑level position ensures data quality, tracks credit exposure and helps the firm comply with credit policies.

Key responsibilities

• Process incoming credit requests, verify completeness and accuracy, and convert them into concise, correctly recorded credit facilities.
• Analyze credit reports, coordinate action plans, and follow up on implementations and related issues.
• Maintain an executive document tracking all requests, changes and action plans performed on credit reports.
• Prepare weekly and monthly audit reports and assist in achieving acceptable audit ratings.
• Provide portfolio and credit information for internal and external auditors.
• Make evaluative judgments based on factual analysis and resolve problems by selecting appropriate solutions.
• Assess risk in business decisions, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations and Citi’s policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Relevant experience in credit operations or a similar position.
• Knowledge of credit processes, procedures and systems.
• Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using Microsoft Project.
• Familiarity with Windows domain environments.
