College Intern Technical Support

About the role

Join Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a College Intern Technical Support Engineer and gain hands‑on experience supporting enterprise technology environments. You will work alongside experienced engineers, learn HPE support methodologies, and contribute to delivering high‑quality customer experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and troubleshoot customer technical issues across infrastructure and software domains under guidance.
• Maintain clear case documentation, progress actions, and communicate status professionally.
• Collaborate with Front‑End, Back‑End, Expert Center teams, product engineering, partners and other stakeholders to accelerate resolution.
• Use diagnostic methods, knowledge resources, support tools, automation and approved AI capabilities to improve investigation quality.
• Collect and analyze logs, reproduce issues, validate solutions and contribute to technical action plans.
• Document findings, solutions, lessons learned and recurring issue patterns to build reusable knowledge.
• Follow HPE quality, security, privacy, compliance and escalation processes while protecting customer and company information.
• Participate in learning plans, certifications, team initiatives and continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Excellent communication skills; fluency in English and either Italian, French or Spanish (speaking and writing).
• Passion for learning quickly, strong problem‑solving abilities and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Flexibility to work across time zones and provide scheduled coverage when required.

Required skills

• Core infrastructure: servers, storage, operating systems, networking, virtualization, databases, backup and recovery.
• Hybrid cloud and platforms: private/public cloud, containers, infrastructure automation, platform operations, security fundamentals.
• Emerging technologies: AI, data concepts, observability, automation, modern HPE technology platforms.
