About the role
As a Claims Processing Associate you will review, assess and process insurance claims in line with established procedures and service standards. You will ensure decisions are accurate, fair and clearly documented while providing professional support to customers and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Review, assess and process claims, maintaining high accuracy and compliance.
- Respond to customer and client inquiries promptly and professionally.
- Support team productivity, quality and SLA targets.
- Participate in medical and claims‑related training to build knowledge of terminology and insurance practices.
- Adapt to varying claim types and shifting priorities.
- Assist the Team Leader with initiatives, engagement activities and ad‑hoc tasks.
- Utilise AI, machine‑learning, data‑analytics and cloud‑based tools responsibly, following data‑governance standards.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in medical, paramedical, finance, business administration, insurance or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 1–2 years of experience in a customer‑focused environment, ideally in clinical/paramedical, TPA or insurance.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage workload and meet tight deadlines.
- Collaborative, reliable team player with a sound work ethic.
- Legally permitted to work in the country of operations and willing to work in a hybrid model.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Office, especially Outlook, Word and Excel.
- Confidence working with multiple digital systems and tools for claims management.
