Claims Processing Associate – Customer Service

About the role

The Claims Processing Associate supports Allianz Partners by reviewing, assessing and processing insurance claims in line with established procedures and service standards. The role combines customer interaction, data handling and collaboration with internal teams to ensure accurate, fair and well‑documented decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Review, assess and process a variety of claims while maintaining high accuracy.
• Respond to customer and client inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve complex issues and meet SLA targets.
• Participate in medical and claims‑related training to deepen knowledge of terminology and insurance practices.
• Adapt to changing claim types and volumes, supporting team priorities.
• Assist the Team Leader with initiatives, engagement activities and ad‑hoc tasks.
• Utilise AI, machine‑learning and cloud‑based tools responsibly, adhering to data‑governance standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in medical, paramedical, finance, business administration, insurance or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of experience in a customer‑focused environment, preferably in clinical, TPA or insurance settings.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and written communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage workload and meet tight deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with a solid work ethic and legal permission to work in the country of operations.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Experience using multiple digital systems for claim management and documentation.
