CAD Designer – Mechanical Engineering (Catia V5)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled CAD Designer to join our Mechanical Engineering team in Tunis. The role focuses on designing and developing mechanical components for automotive products using Catia V5, while collaborating closely with cross‑functional engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create and update 3D models and 2D drawings in Catia V5.
• Support concept and production design activities for automotive parts.
• Manage CAD data exchange with customer PLM systems such as Teamcenter.
• Organise and maintain CAD files within the 3D Experience (3DX) environment.
• Develop robust CAD files that accommodate multiple design revisions efficiently.
• Mentor team members on CAD best practices and methodologies.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–5 years of experience in automotive engineering design.
• Understanding of plastics geometries and manufacturing constraints (drafts, wall thickness, fillets, etc.).
• Strong organisational, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.

Required skills

• Catia V5.
• 3D Experience (3DX) platform.
