Business Data Analyst

About the role

Devoteam is looking for a Business Data Analyst to translate business needs into technical specifications and deliver actionable insights through data visualisation. The role will support both Tunis and Riyadh offices, working closely with senior decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain charts, dashboards, KPIs and BI test cases.
• Facilitate UAT workshops and create Report Specification Documents (RSD) and KPI cards.
• Develop user guides, conduct awareness sessions and perform unit testing and troubleshooting.
• Extract data from data‑warehousing tools (e.g., OLAP cubes) and execute SQL queries across multiple back‑ends.
• Cleanse, normalise and analyse structured, semi‑structured and geospatial data for descriptive, diagnostic and predictive purposes.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in data analytics or business intelligence.
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and communicate findings clearly.
• Strong analytical background with experience across at least two business domains.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel, SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, DB2) and OLAP/ETL concepts.
• Data‑warehouse design, dimensional modelling and data‑mining techniques.
• Experience with BI tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Spotfire or MicroStrategy.
• Python libraries for data visualisation (a plus).
