Assistant Director of Finance

About the role

The Assistant Director of Finance (Assistant Controller) will oversee the day‑to‑day operations of the Accounting Office in Tunis. This full‑time position focuses on financial analysis, reporting, budgeting, audit coordination, and cash management to support sound business decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and support the accounting team, fostering collaboration and performance recognition.
• Oversee internal, external and regulatory audit processes and ensure timely resolution of audit issues.
• Generate accurate financial reports, presentations and analyses for senior management.
• Maintain the profit & loss statement, balance‑sheet reconciliations and working‑capital controls.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, SOPs and local operating procedures.
• Manage asset and liability reconciliations, cash flow monitoring and forecasting.
• Coordinate project documentation, vendor contracts and property permits.

Required profile

• 4‑year bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field.
• No prior work experience required – entry‑level candidates are welcome.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on integrity and teamwork.
