Analyst – Systematic Literature Review (SLR)

About the role

The Analyst – Systematic Literature Review (SLR) will support evidence generation for health and life‑science clients by conducting structured literature reviews and assisting with evidence synthesis. Working within Inizio Ignite’s Research Partnership team, you will collaborate with senior researchers and project teams to deliver high‑quality insights that inform healthcare decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Support the design and development of systematic review protocols and research frameworks.
• Conduct comprehensive literature searches across databases such as PubMed, Embase, and the Cochrane Library.
• Screen abstracts and full‑text articles using predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria.
• Extract and organise clinical, epidemiological, economic, and humanistic outcome data from selected studies.
• Perform quality assessments and critical appraisals of identified literature.
• Assist in evidence synthesis, analysis, and the preparation of technical reports, presentations, manuscripts, posters, and publications.
• Maintain organized documentation and reference libraries using tools like EndNote or Reference Manager.
• Collaborate with internal teams and participate in client discussions as required.

Required profile

• B.Pharm, M.Pharm, PhD in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biological Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience conducting systematic or targeted literature reviews or healthcare research.
• Understanding of systematic review methodologies and evidence synthesis techniques.
• Familiarity with major literature databases and reference management tools.
