YouTube Rights Operations / CMS & Content ID Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly specialized YouTube CMS & Content ID Manager to serve as the technical backbone of our digital rights ecosystem. You will own the end‑to‑end YouTube Content Manager infrastructure, protect intellectual property, resolve ownership conflicts, and optimise monetisation for internal operations and strategic partners.

Key responsibilities

• Administer YouTube CMS: manage user permissions, partner accounts and maintain accurate metadata across assets.
• Configure Content ID and policies: create ID assets, set territory restrictions and monetisation rules.
• Handle claims and disputes: review, analyse and process claims, resolve conflicts and manage counter‑notifications.
• Protect content and mitigate risk: track unauthorised re‑uploads, audit over‑claiming and design defensive strategies.
• Support partners and develop SOPs: act as technical point of contact, troubleshoot rights issues and document procedures.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Content Operations, Editorial and Legal teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience working directly within YouTube CMS and Content ID environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously while coordinating with legal and editorial stakeholders.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills for complex rights‑management scenarios.
