An unarmed security professional helps keep environments safe and secure while delivering excellent service to clients, guests, visitors and employees. The role suits people who want to combine security work with a friendly, customer-focused approach.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of assigned properties
• Monitor facilities and report suspicious activity
• Enforce access control procedures and verify visitor and employee credentials
• Respond professionally to incidents and emergencies
• Complete detailed incident and activity reports and assist with investigations when needed
• Monitor security equipment and report concerns
• Maintain a visible, professional presence and support a positive experience for everyone

Required profile

• At least 18 years old
• Valid Tennessee Unarmed Security Guard registration, or the ability to obtain and maintain one
• Reliable, punctual, calm under pressure and professional in appearance and conduct
• Friendly, observant, detail-oriented and able to communicate well with people from diverse backgrounds
• Preferred: previous security experience, patrol or surveillance experience, knowledge of access control, incident handling experience, first aid and CPR certification, and customer service or hospitality experience
