Technicien Supérieur en Électrique

About the role

Med Oil Company, a leading agro‑food producer in Bir Mcherga, is looking for a Senior Electrical Technician to ensure high availability and safety of its highly automated production lines. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will work on complex power and control‑command installations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment, including low‑voltage switchgear (TGBT) and power distribution systems.
• Diagnose faults, repair or replace components, and ensure proper operation of safety devices.
• Conduct root‑cause analysis of recurring failures and propose electrical schematic modifications.
• Participate in commissioning projects for new production lines, from installation to start‑up.
• Provide real‑time electrical support to production teams while adhering to lock‑out/tag‑out, hygiene and industrial safety standards.

Required profile

• Technical degree (BTS or applied licence) in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a continuous‑process industrial environment, preferably agro‑food.
• Methodical mindset, strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficient reading and interpretation of electrical schematics and manufacturer technical files.
• Knowledge of low‑voltage wiring, labeling and electrical safety regulations.
• Experience with industrial automation, PLC diagnostics and communication networks.
• Familiarity with power distribution panels and safety‑critical components.
