Technicien de Maintenance - Région Sahel

About the role

Clarke Energy Tunisie is looking for a Maintenance Technician to support its gas‑engine power plants in the Sahel region, based in Sfax. You will be responsible for keeping Jenbacher gas engines (250 kW – 9 MW) operating reliably in both cogeneration and biogas projects.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on gas engines and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot faults, diagnose performance issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor plant parameters, record operational data, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Prepare and update maintenance reports and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering teams during commissioning and upgrades.

Required profile

• Technical diploma or degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or a related field.
• Experience in power‑plant or gas‑engine maintenance.
• Ability to work on‑site in the Sahel region and travel as needed.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and good communication in French.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Jenbacher gas engines and their control systems.
• Proficiency in preventive maintenance procedures and diagnostic tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and manuals.
• Understanding of safety regulations and best practices in an industrial environment.
