Technical Support Engineer – German Speaker (Renewable Energy)

About the role

We are looking for a German‑speaking Technical Support Engineer to join a fast‑growing renewable‑energy company. You will provide first‑line assistance for customers using PV inverters and home‑storage systems, ensuring smooth commissioning and ongoing operation.

Key responsibilities

• Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, delivering clear technical assistance.
• Analyze error patterns and diagnose issues with PV inverters and battery systems.
• Support commissioning activities and monitor the performance of renewable‑energy equipment.
• Document all interactions and resolutions in a ticketing system.
• Order spare parts when required and follow up on delivery.

Required profile

• Previous experience in customer service or an electrotechnical environment.
• Basic understanding of electrical concepts such as voltage and current.
• Strong communication skills, positive attitude, team spirit and quality awareness.
• Fluent German (able to discuss technical topics confidently).
• Good English proficiency is an advantage.
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model on a full‑time basis.
