Technical Lead (C++)

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Lead (C++) to drive the product roadmap for Canny Vision’s AI‑powered video analytics platforms. You will bridge business goals, user feedback, and engineering execution to deliver cutting‑edge solutions for smart transportation, retail intelligence and edge AI.

Key responsibilities

• Own product roadmap and feature prioritisation across all Canny Vision products.
• Translate business objectives and customer insights into clear, technically feasible requirements.
• Coordinate between founders, AI, computer‑vision and full‑stack engineering teams, and early‑stage customers.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from discovery, specification, delivery to iteration.
• Define KPIs, track progress and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with design and engineering to improve usability and user experience.
• Support deployment planning and edge‑cloud integration efforts.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in a technical product management role, preferably in an early‑stage AI, SaaS or computer‑vision company.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML, computer‑vision and the trade‑offs between edge and cloud processing.
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Organised, proactive and able to work independently at speed.

Required skills

• Solid C++ programming experience.
• Working knowledge of Jakarta EE and backend service architecture.
• Familiarity with AI/ML fundamentals, computer‑vision pipelines and edge‑cloud integration.
