Team Leader - Operations Quality

About the role

LEONI, a global provider of products, solutions and services for power distribution and connectivity in the automotive industry, is hiring a Team Leader for Operations Quality in Mateur. The role manages and supervises the Operations Quality organisation unit according to defined objectives and KPIs, with functional accountability at segment level.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the Operations Quality org unit according to objectives and KPIs
• Identify improvement opportunities, offer consulting and contribute to better service delivery
• Ensure adherence to standards and governance and proper execution of processes
• Lead direct reports, plan regular team activities and define their objectives, tasks and responsibilities
• Monitor and evaluate results, identify training needs and support professional development
• Propose measures for team performance, organisational flexibility, diversity, succession planning, coaching, change management and personal growth
• Stop production and/or shipment when needed to reduce the risk of non-compliant processes or products
• Request a Q-Task-Force from the production facility for major quality problems
• Act as Product Safety Officer, ensuring products under security or regulatory status meet requirements

Required profile

• University degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality Management
• Social and intercultural sensitivity, change management, target and result orientation, motivation and resilience
• Self-organisation, conflict management and teamwork
