Team Lead Material Flow Planning

About the role

LEONI is seeking a Team Lead for Material Flow Planning to manage and develop the material flow planning function within its Tunisian operations. The role involves overseeing a team, ensuring compliance with VCM standards, and driving continuous improvement across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the Material Flow Planning unit according to defined objectives and KPIs.
• Identify improvement opportunities, provide consulting, and enhance service delivery.
• Ensure adherence to standards, governance, and process execution.
• Lead direct reports, define objectives, tasks, and monitor performance.
• Plan regular team activities to cover all stages and respond to requests.
• Identify training needs, support professional development, and facilitate knowledge transfer.
• Propose measures to improve team performance, flexibility, diversity, succession planning, coaching, and change management.
• Take functional accountability for Material Flow Planning at country level.
• Define and implement material flow in raw material, semi‑finished, and finished‑goods warehouses according to VCM standards.
• Validate calculations for material flows, including quantities, layout, space, and resources.

Required profile

• University degree.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in VCM‑related roles.
• Fluency in French and English.
• Knowledge of ABC Analysis, Kanban/Pull Scheduling, Materials Replenishment, Supply Chain Concepts, Supply Chain Optimization, Value Chain Analysis, and Warehouse Management Systems.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement techniques, Gap Analysis, Future State Mapping, Performance Measurement, Process Management, Standards and Procedures, Value Stream Mapping, and Auditing.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP planning systems.
