Talent Acquisition Officer – HR Department

About the role

Bank ABC is seeking a proactive Talent Acquisition Officer to join its Human Resources department at the Tunisia Head Office. The role focuses on delivering end‑to‑end recruitment services, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and securing the best talent for the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse hiring needs, develop provisional recruitment plans and anticipate future staffing requirements.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to create job descriptions, define talent management strategies and guide them through the recruitment process.
• Manage the full recruitment workflow using the company’s information system, including job posting optimisation, sourcing, screening, interviewing and coordinating pre‑employment tests.
• Negotiate offers, prepare employment agreements, and oversee the onboarding hand‑over to HR.
• Conduct reference and background checks, manage internship recruitment and maintain accurate head‑count reporting.
• Track recruitment KPIs, generate monthly reports for Global HR and optimise the recruitment budget.
• Negotiate fees with external recruitment agencies and maintain partner relationships.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably within the banking or financial sector.
• Strong understanding of employment legislation and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with hiring managers and external partners.
• Ability to manage multiple vacancies simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.

Required skills

• Experience with recruitment information systems or applicant tracking platforms.
• Knowledge of sourcing techniques for hard‑to‑fill positions.
• Competence in conducting interviews, administering psychological or pre‑employment assessments.
• Negotiation skills for compensation packages and agency fees.
