Supply Chain Assistant – Multiple Openings

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking four Supply Chain Assistants to support its resource management functions at the main office in Tunis. Working under the Chief of Mission and the Head of RMU, you will assist the Supply Chain Officer in ensuring timely and compliant procurement of goods and services.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and consolidate procurement requisition forms in line with the Purchase Authorization Matrix.
• Prepare tender documents, solicit bids or quotations, and compile bid analysis summaries for requesting units.
• Coordinate contract terms with selected suppliers, issue purchase orders or contracts, and obtain necessary authorizations.
• Monitor open requisitions, follow up on deliveries, and confirm receipt with the receiving unit.
• Review vendor invoices, prepare payment requests, and liaise with Finance for timely payments.
• Maintain physical and electronic procurement records and support periodic reporting.
• Conduct market surveys to identify potential new suppliers or service providers.

Required profile

• Ability to work under supervision of senior supply‑chain staff.
• Strong attention to detail for verifying requisitions and documentation.
• Good communication skills to coordinate with internal units and external suppliers.
