Supplier Quality Engineer – Automotive

About the role

As a Supplier Quality Engineer you will ensure the assessment of raw‑material suppliers, drive quality improvements and monitor the development of new components until they meet Aptiv’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in improving the quality of finished products and reduce defective raw‑material parts per million.
• Approve new suppliers through validation questionnaires and reports.
• Perform on‑site audits, ensure process compliance and help suppliers improve product quality.
• Transmit Aptiv’s quality procedures to suppliers and support their development.
• Validate new PPAP components and monitor supplier quality performance.

Required profile

• Engineering degree.
• 1‑3 years of experience in the automotive sector in a similar role.
• Good knowledge of quality standards and customer requirements.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle stressful situations.
