Structural BIM Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a motivated and detail‑oriented Structural BIM Engineer to join our Technical Development team in Tunisia. You will develop, coordinate and optimise structural BIM models, delivering high‑quality technical outputs that meet project requirements, standards and company procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update structural BIM models in line with project specifications and BIM execution plans.
• Produce structural drawings, sections, details and schedules directly from the BIM models.
• Coordinate structural models with architectural and MEP disciplines, identify and resolve clashes and design inconsistencies.
• Perform model quality checks, ensure accuracy, consistency and compliance with applicable structural standards.
• Support BIM workflow development, modelling standards, templates and technical procedures.
• Participate in BIM coordination meetings, clash detection and resolution processes.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related technical field.
• Experience in structural BIM modelling and production of structural documentation.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary, international environment.
• Proficiency in English; French is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit Structure.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Navisworks for model coordination and clash detection.
• Familiarity with BIM standards, workflows and information exchange processes (ISO 19650, IFC).
• Knowledge of Tekla Structures, Autodesk AutoCAD and structural analysis software (preferred).
• Experience with BIM automation tools such as Dynamo (preferred).
