Specialist Technician – Material Preparation & CNC Milling

About the role

LEONI is looking for a Specialist Technician to operate and set‑up numerically controlled production machines for material preparation and milling. The role focuses on chip‑forming processes, ensuring high‑quality parts while following detailed work instructions.

Key responsibilities

• Handle CNC and other numerical‑controlled machines, preparing them for part shaping.
• Perform visual and self‑checks to guarantee part quality and identify defects.
• Maintain process‑relevant documentation and record measured parameters in software and paper logs.
• Operate auxiliary equipment such as band saws, lathes, grinding, cutting and drilling tools.
• Ensure proper use, handling and visual inspection of tools, equipment and materials.

Required profile

• BTS in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electromechanical engineering.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
• Ability to work autonomously, self‑organise and collaborate within a team.
• Good intercultural sensitivity and adaptability to change.

Required skills

• CNC machine operation.
• Chip‑forming process knowledge.
• Use of parameter measuring devices.
• Operation of band saw, lathe, grinding, cutting and drilling tools.
• Visual inspection and documentation of production results.
