About the role
The Specialist Scrap Control coordinates the collection, weighing, and processing of scrap material from production areas to a central warehouse. The role ensures accurate recording, proper sorting for recycling, and supports the scrap selling and audit processes.
Key responsibilities
- Consolidate scrap from production areas, perform physical weighing and record data in the ERP system.
- Coordinate copper recycling, ensuring correct sorting before loading into recycling equipment.
- Archive relevant documents with required signatures and distribute reports across the organization.
- Conduct gap analyses, monitor corrective actions, and support internal audits related to scrap management.
- Assist the scrap selling process by providing detailed information for reconciliation.
Required profile
- University degree.
- At least 1 year of experience in the automotive industry (preferred).
- Fluent in French and English.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and change‑management abilities.
