Specialist Performance Controller

About the role

The Specialist Performance Controller will support LEONI’s automotive wiring systems business by managing cost structures, monitoring financial performance, and providing analytical insights for internal projects. You will work closely with functional departments to ensure accurate budgeting, reporting, and cash control.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and plan cost‑center and cost‑object structures for internal projects.
• Calculate performance rates on a cost‑center level to serve as baselines for pre‑concept and series development projects.
• Perform cost‑center planning and deliver input for customer project calculations.
• Check and control planning adherence of functional and back‑office departments.
• Monitor actuals versus plans, highlight deviations, and communicate findings to relevant units.
• Conduct cash controlling, including evaluation of investment decisions.
• Produce regular KPI reports and respond to ad‑hoc controlling requests.
• Support the Accounting department by assigning correct cost objects to cost centers or business plans.

Required profile

• Degree in Finance.
• Fluent in English and French.
• Experience with budgeting, business analysis, financial planning, reporting, cost planning, cost estimating, cost modeling, cost management, cost analysis, and expense control.
• Proficiency in planning, benchmarking, data collection, data analysis, data modeling, reporting, cost‑benefit analysis, analytics, presentation, and business support.
