SMEs Relationship Manager – Retail & Digital Banking

About the role

The SMEs Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of small‑and‑medium‑enterprise and professional clients for Bank ABC’s Retail & Digital Banking department in Sfax. Reporting to the Head of Retail, the manager acts as the central point of contact, conducts credit assessments, and coordinates with product specialists to structure suitable facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow a portfolio of existing corporate, SME and professional clients through regular contact, prompt query handling and proactive service.
• Develop new relationships by prospecting, ensuring Bank ABC is positioned on key deals and identifying niche opportunities to increase annuity business.
• Perform credit analysis, discuss facility structures with the Head of Retail and relevant product experts, and ensure compliance with loan‑granting rules.
• Monitor and recover non‑performing loans in collaboration with the recovery unit, and oversee annual credit renewals.
• Ensure accurate client data entry and updates in the core banking system and related applications.
• Collaborate with all bank departments to deliver seamless service and achieve individual business objectives.
• Adhere to internal risk, compliance (KYC, AML) and documentation standards.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in a similar relationship‑management role within a commercial bank.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Finance, Economics or Banking.
• Strong analytical thinking and credit‑analysis skills.
• Good knowledge of the Tunisian market, main players and sector trends.
• Excellent client‑relationship and communication abilities.
