Shift Leader Operations Quality

About the role

LEONI is seeking a Shift Leader for Operations Quality to oversee the quality function on the shop‑floor. You will be responsible for ensuring that production meets the highest standards of safety, reliability and customer satisfaction while leading a team of quality professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the Operations Quality unit, meeting defined KPIs and objectives.
• Identify improvement opportunities, provide consulting, and drive service‑delivery enhancements.
• Ensure adherence to standards, governance, and process execution.
• Plan and coordinate team activities to cover all production stages and incoming requests.
• Define objectives, tasks and responsibilities for team members and monitor results.
• Identify training needs, support professional development and apply corrective actions.
• Authority to stop production lines or product delivery in case of non‑conformities and release them after corrective actions.
• Oversee sorting activities and manage resolution of quality problems escalated from production or customers.

Required profile

• University degree in a scientific field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality management.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong social and intercultural sensitivity.
• Proven change‑management capability.
• Target‑oriented, resilient and self‑organized.
• Effective conflict‑management and teamwork abilities.
