Senior ServiceNow Developer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to design, configure, and enhance ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules. You will work in live production environments, helping organisations streamline service delivery, automate workflows, and improve user experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications in areas such as ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, and CMDB.
• Create and refine workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, service catalog items, forms, and approval processes.
• Build automation using Flow Designer and other platform capabilities.
• Support incident, problem, change, request, asset, case, and configuration management processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production defects, performance issues, and system bugs.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, service owners, platform and integration teams to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Participate in release management activities, including testing, deployment, validation, and post‑release support.
• Contribute to platform governance, development standards, reusable design patterns, and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Work effectively within Agile, iterative, or hybrid delivery environments.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on ServiceNow development experience (senior candidates often have 7+ years).
• Strong expertise in at least one ServiceNow module (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, HRSD, CSM, or CMDB).
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, and Flow Designer.
• Proven experience configuring workflows, forms, catalog items, approvals, and notifications.
• Experience supporting production environments, including defect resolution and enhancements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
