Senior PL/SQL Consultant – Remote (German B2)

About the role

This full‑time remote position focuses on designing, developing, and optimizing PL/SQL solutions for business intelligence and digital strategy projects serving German‑speaking clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and fine‑tune PL/SQL procedures, functions, and packages.
• Write and maintain complex PL/SQL code and ensure high performance of data flows.
• Conduct code reviews, debug production issues, and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Optimize SQL queries and database structures for efficiency.
• Prepare technical documentation and contribute to solution architecture discussions.
• Participate in remote meetings with stakeholders in German and English.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in PL/SQL development, including stored procedures, functions, packages, and performance tuning.
• Solid understanding of relational databases such as Oracle, SQL optimization, and data modeling concepts.
• Experience working in nearshoring or distributed teams and collaborating effectively remotely.
• Professional proficiency in German (minimum B2) and good command of English.
• Background in business intelligence, data warehousing, or analytics projects is a plus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
