Senior Payroll Specialist – EMEA

About the role

RemotePass is seeking a proactive and highly organized Senior Payroll Specialist to lead and scale its EMEA payroll operations. In this role you will act as the central point of contact for internal teams and external payroll partners, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate end‑to‑end payroll processing for EMEA jurisdictions, reviewing inputs, statutory contributions, invoices and reports for accuracy.
• Collaborate with payroll providers and internal stakeholders to guarantee timely salary disbursement and resolve payroll discrepancies.
• Support off‑cycle payroll requests, onboarding readiness, and payroll‑related documentation.
• Manage onboarding tasks such as benefits enrollment, statutory registrations, banking details and tax documentation.
• Provide pre‑sales payroll feasibility assessments to Commercial and Customer Success teams.
• Review payroll invoices and work with Finance to ensure proper invoice processing.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in global payroll operations, preferably within an EOR or multi‑country environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑growing startup.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with internal teams, external partners and employees.
• Self‑starter attitude with a solutions‑oriented mindset.
